A Snowy Scandal?
As the first snow blanketed Uijeongbu on Tuesday night, excitement filled the air, both on and off the pitch. The Chosun Young Boys hosted the Mini Assassins in a thrilling 4-4 draw, showcasing creative play on a wet, boggy field that left spectators marveling at the resilience of these youth teams. But as the dust—or rather, the snow—settled on this dramatic encounter, whispers of a late-night escapade began circulating on local social media.

A Night to Remember
The heated match itself was nothing short of memorable. Chosun's Tae-Yoon Jung struck twice, while his teammate Kyeong-Hyeon Pyeong added a crucial goal, and Hyun-Yoon Ji showed his class with a composed finish. The Mini Assassins, however, proved they were no easy foes. Goals from Mohammadi Mashaly, Yazeed Mattar, Rayyan Fakhroo, and Husain Khunji ensured a nail-biting draw, with both teams splitting possession and chances equally.
While the players battled it out on the pitch, the weather conditions turned the game into a spectacle of perseverance and adaptability. A soggy pitch tested their technical abilities, and the young boys didn’t disappoint, providing a show for the 324 fans who braved the rain and mud.
Mischief Under Moonlight
Yet, the morning brought an unexpected twist. Photos surfaced online of three mischievous boys sneaking around in the snow in the wee hours, raising eyebrows across the community. Residents claimed snowmen mysteriously appeared in unlikely places, and one unfortunate soul lamented the disappearance of their morning milk delivery.
While some were quick to jump to conclusions, Hall of Famer Ki-Hwan Ahn, whose son plays for the Chosun Young Boys, was eager to calm the waters. "Nobody got hurt, so let's not blow things out of proportion," he stated. Nevertheless, sceptics pointed out the timing of his comments, suggesting he might be attempting to shield the young footballers from further scrutiny.
Heroes in the Snow
Despite the off-field antics, the real story of the night remains the incredible determination and creativity shown by the Chosun Young Boys and the Mini Assassins. The match highlighted the depth of talent and sportsmanship in this youth league, even under challenging conditions.
As the snow continues to fall in Uijeongbu, the town is left with lingering questions: Who were the Mischievous Three? Were they merely enjoying the season’s first snow, or is there more to this snowy scandal? For now, the only certainty is that Chosun Young Boys are earning their stripes—on and off the field.
Stay tuned for more updates from the Everybody Wants To Rule The World league, as this season promises more drama, goals, and perhaps a few more snow-filled surprises.
Looking forward to more snowy shenanigans! :D
